SHOT CLOCK TALKS

Controversial moment during the Branson/Rogersville game...

Rogersville jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter.  Branson came out strong in the second to take the lead by 3.  Then in an attempt to control the tempo Branson stalled for well over a minute before the crowd started to come alive.  Branson stalled, Rogersville stood.  Rogersville finally came out, applied pressure which lead to a Branham bucket changing the momentum to Rogersville going into halftime.  This moment led to many conversations around implementing a shot clock for Missouri basketball.

Player of the week

Marshfield High School

"Aurora's junior guard was impressive at the Blue and Gold!  He moved well without the ball and had a quick trigger tying the tournament record with nine three's in his first game.  Cannon finished the game with 42 points."
