2025 was the first year for the 417 Future 50 and it did not disappoint. There is a lot of good young talent around the Ozarks. The boys championship game went down to the wire and was one for the books. Here are a few of the boys that made an overall impression at the showcase.
Jax Glossip (8th - Crane/ MBA) is the next up in a long line of talented players from Crane. Jax's athleticism was allowing him to score at (or above) the rim with ease. His ability to finish off of two feet allowed him to finish through contact and convert many and one opportunities.
Cole Dowden (8th - Mtn. Grove/Mo Tribe) Cole is the type of player that you want in a teammate. He was grabbing boards, playing the passing lanes, setting his teammates up, as well as finishing at the rim.
Landon Henderson (7th - Cherokee/ DC Kings) is a true floor general that controls the pace of the game. His court vision and ability to break down the defense was truely a work of art. Landon was creating opportunities for himself and his teammates all night long.
Tayden Bernard (7th - Ozark/ Hoop Dreams Elite) may be the best 7th grader in the state. His skillset resembles that of NBA All-Star Trae Young. Tayden made big play after big play to help his team win the boys championship.
Easton Murray (7th - WIllard/Hoop Dreams) is another talented 7th grader with a ton of upside. Easton competing at a high level versus players older than him.
Camden Hawkins (8th - Mtn. Grove/Mo Tribe) Cam was a nightmare for the opposing teams attacking the gaps of the defense and making plays at the rim.
Miles Pfannenstiel (8th - WIllard/MBA) Miles was making winning plays on both ends of the floor. He has the potential to be the next star from Willard.
